These terms govern your use of the Xentek website (xentek.ca). They do not govern client engagements — those are covered by a separate written agreement (a Statement of Work or Master Services Agreement) signed by both parties. Where the two conflict for a client engagement, the signed agreement controls.
You may use the site to learn about our work, contact us, and book consults. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape content beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt, reverse-engineer the booking flow, or impersonate another person when submitting a form.
Submissions to the contact form must be your own genuine inquiry. Repeated abuse will be blocked and may be reported.
The text, design system, code samples, page layouts, illustrations and the Xentek wordmark are the property of Xentek. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce the site or substantial portions of it without our written permission.
Third-party trademarks referenced on this site (e.g. cloud provider names, framework names) belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
Content on this site describes how we approach engineering problems. It is not legal, financial, security, or technical advice for your specific situation. If you need such advice, engage us — or another qualified professional — and we will provide it under a signed agreement.
The site is provided "as is." We make no warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We do our best to keep information current, but specifications, technologies and offerings evolve and parts of the site may lag reality.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Xentek is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the site. Our maximum aggregate liability arising from your use of this website is capped at one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD 100).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. Disputes will be brought in the courts located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, unless otherwise required by law.
We will post any updates here and revise the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
